We can record a credit note to your client, @estacare.
By creating a credit note, your client can use this as a payment to an invoice. I'll show you how:
- Go to the + New button.
- Choose Credit note or Give credit.
- Enter the customer’s name, then fill out the required fields:
- Once done, click Save and close.
Then, you can apply the credit note to an invoice. Here's how:
- Choose + New.
- Click Receive payment or Receive invoice payment.
- Enter the customer’s name, then fill out the required fields:
- Leave the fields Payment method, Reference no, Deposit to, and Amount received as blank.
- In the Credits section, select the credit note you created, then in the Payments column, enter how much credit your customer wants to use.
- Click Save and close once finished.
