Hi, I have had a pending transaction that was picked up from my business account from an Amazon transaction, it's been pending for 5 days is this normal?

Hi, I have had a pending transaction that was picked up from my business account from an Amazon transaction, it's been pending for 5 days is this normal?

Welcome to the Community space, @userpv-douglas. I have the steps you can perform to help fix your pending transactions.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) depends on the financial data shared by your bank. Here are the possible reasons your bank account isn't updating in the program:

 

  • The bank is performing system maintenance. 
  • There are notifications from their website that need your attention. 

 

To get this resolved, let's refresh the bank connection between your bank and QBSE.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Simply click Refresh All button. 

If the manual update doesn't work. I'd recommend signing in to their website to check if there are alerts that need your attention. Just make sure to use the URL you're using in QBSE. Once reviewed, click the Refresh all button again. 

 

Once your bank account is updated, you can categorise the transactions to ensure your financial records are correct. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
