Reviewed transactions not saving

I have reconciled my accounts for the tax year 2019-2020 3 times.  Each time I have finished it but when I log back in again none of the information has saved. 

 

I am not manually refreshing my bank account as it is no longer linked to Quickbooks due to my bank not being supported as at the end of March.

 

How can I save the information so that I can file my tax return and not have to re-enter the information over and over.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your transactions saved in your account, wearedcrafts.

 

I've checked here on our end and there's no reported case about this one. The option to reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Self-Employed is unavailable. If you're using QuickBooks Online subscription, any transactions you create in your account will be saved right-away after click the Save button. 

 

It's possible that you might also be experiencing some browser hiccups. This happens when the cache stores the information which can take up space on the computer's memory. If it's overloaded, it can cause unexpected results.

 

Cases like this, you'll want to perform some basic troubleshooting. We can start with logging into your account through a private browser.  This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to be thorough. 

 

If the same thing happens, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.

  1. Click the Help icon on the top right. 
  2. Tap the Contact Us button at the bottom. 
  3. Enter a short description of your concern. 
  4. Tick Continue
  5. Choose Message an agent to connect with our support.
