Supplier invoices

For UK business..

Does anyone know if it is necessary to enter suppler invoices and match up with payment to them if one has already "ADD"ed the payment via the bank feed.

Can we skip the entering supplier invoice stage?

I edit SPENT entries "for reveiw" from the bank feed which include vat or not etc - is this enough for my vat return?

Thanks in advance.

Supplier invoices

Hello Nikki,

You don't need to create supplier invoices in QuickBooks since you have already added the payments through the Banking page. Otherwise, it will cause duplicate issues in your register.

You can use the Match option in the Banking page if you have created the transactions (invoices, bills, payments, and others) prior to downloading the bank transactions,

You can also exclude bank transactions to avoid them from being added in to your register.

Let me know if you have other concerns. I'll be around.
