Learn how to update a custom sales tax rate you created in QuickBooks Online.
If your business requires a custom sales tax rate, the following article will show you how to make changes to it as necessary.
- From the left menu, select Taxes.
- Select VAT or CIS.
- Select Edit VAT or Edit CIS depending on the rate you want to modify.
- Select Edit rates.
- Select On or Off beside the tax rate you want to make active or inactive.
- To confirm your changes select Yes.
|Note: Changes to the tax rate will apply to any future transactions you add it to. If you need to change the tax rate for an existing transaction, open that transaction and edit the rate manually.|
