Yes, you can record multiple VAT payments against a single submitted VAT return in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The platform enables you to keep the Record Payment window open for the return until the entire balance has been settled.

 

Here's how to record multiple payments:

 

  1. Navigate to the VAT menu and choose Overview.
  2. Click the Returns tab to locate the submitted return you wish to pay.
  3. In the Action column, select Record Payment.
  4. Fill in the necessary payment details, such as the bank account, payment date, and amount.
  5. Once everything is ready, click Save.
