I'm on UK FRS VAT. A capital purchase I have made, which I can claim the VAT back on, is not showing in my VAT return. What should I do?

Go to the expense record and tick the "VAT Reclaimable" tick box. This will ensure the transaction is included in the VAT return despite being set up to use the FRS scheme.

Hi Mark

Can I please check the transaction created is dated within the VAT period you are viewing?
