VAT has been added to my quickbooks randomly and now i can't remove it

Once VAT has been set up in QuickBooks Online, it can't be fully removed. However, I’ll guide you through the steps to adjust your settings so VAT no longer appears in your future transactions.

Here’s how you can it:

1. Click the Gear icon :gear: in the top right corner, then go to Account and settings.
2. Navigate to the Advanced tab.
3. Look for the Accounting section and click on the pencil icon :pencil: to edit it.
4. Change the default tax selection to "Out of scope Tax".
5. Select Save, then Done.
