Check Out QB Community's New "Getting Started" Video!

gettingstarted.png

Hey there QB Community members: We've created a fun Getting Started video to show you around the site and help you get the most value out of each visit. New member? It's a must-watch. Seasoned contributor? Oh heck - watch it anyway; there are bound to be features of the site that you aren't yet harnessing for business success. (Have you filled out your member profile? Just asking!)

I think this is the most brilliant way to say "hi". Love it!

I still don't know how to post a question to the community board?

Hi –

Regarding the QuickBooks Community site, can you explain “tagging”?

I believe tagging is when you put the @ symbol followed by the person’s username, is that right?

  1. What is tagging?
  2. What happens when you tag someone?
  3. When do you do tagging?
  4. Why do some people reply to a post and tag me in the reply?
  5. How do you tag?
  6. What do the "Tag" settings in the profile do?

Re: Check Out QB Community's New "Getting Started" Video!

Hi @MIMAC -

Regarding posting a question, below is my feedback.

Also, check out the article “QB Community "Rules of the Road”.

Near the bottom half of the article, look for the section header in bold called “Start a discussion: ”.

Here’s my approach to post a question:

Click the green button "Start a discussion" which is usually on the upper right.

If you don’t see it:

1. Make sure you’re logged in to the QuickBooks Community site.

2. Then, at the QuickBooks Community home page, choose “QuickBooks Q&A”.

3. Select your topic area.

4. Then you’ll probably see the green button “Start a Discussion”.

I hope that helps!
