Transfer Data from an old Company File to a new one

Our Company File is over 10 years old and we need to transfer our data to a new one. We only want to do the last 3 years. A 3rd-party company said it would cost around $30,000 dollars for them to do it. That's seems pretty high. I was wondering if we could use the QOBDC driver to transfer all the table information by exporting Table data from the old file into MS Excel and then importing the Table data into a new company file. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this issue?

$30K for a conversion service? Really?

Where is your office located? Which QuickBooks version and edition you are using now?

@Automation1

If you are using a US version of QB desktop, it is not nearly that much
