A password is needed to delete an entry in Bank Registry chart of accounts but mine does not work.

Good day, cherie100.

 

You'll need to change the password in the Close the Books feature in QBO to delete the entry. You must be either a Company Administrator or the Master Administrator to change the password.

 

Here's how to change the password:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, click Account and Settings.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Click on the pencil icon in the Accounting section.
  5. Enter and confirm your new password.
  6. Click Save
  7. Click Done.
