can i use multiple company in a single account ?i want to add another company in my qb account. is it possible?

If you mean can you have more than one subscription to QBO with one login, yes

    Go to  http://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing
     Click Buy Now under the version you need.
     Click Already have an Intuit account?  Sign In.
     Enter your log in information and follow the on-screen prompts to set up the second company.

Then when you sign in to your account you will have the option to enter “Company 1” or “Company 2”

In QBO, you will need to PAY for each additional company you want to add. You can use the existing login account with additionally paid company subscriptions.
In other words, there is no paid subscription for one company and be able to add other companies to that one paid subscription.

What about if second company is an international grant recipient and you are only tracking your grant to them via 3 journel entries a month - could you integrate that into your company account, same license and QBO subscription? How?

We already have the Advanced Version and do not know how to set up a second company.

You may have more than one QBO account with the same email address. Make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular price.

One company file is equal to one QuickBooks account. To put this company under your existing Intuit ID, log into your current company when creating a new account.

 

You can click on the Add another company button when creating another account. From there, you'll be asked to enter an Email address and Password.

Whenever you want to switch from one company to another, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Switch Company.
