Accidentally created new company when purchasing subscription and now I am stuck trying to migrate data. Possible to just move the subscription to the other one?

Hi there, moliwo.

 

For now, there's no option to transfer data from one QBO account to another. If your data is on an expired or cancelled account, you can log in to it and reactivate the subscription. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right hand corner and select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Billing and Subscription tab. 
  3. Click the Subscribe button and enter your payment information.

Once done, don't forget to cancel the duplicate account so you aren't charged for it. Follow the steps in this guide for more details: Cancel Your QuickBooks Online Subscription

 

There are also third-party apps that offer data migration services in the App Store. You can find them here: https://apps.intuit.com/app/apps/home.
