We sold our business in 2017. I have kept our QB Online account active since that time as I wanted access to the detailed records and transaction data.
Can I suspend my account - and avoid the monthly subscription fees as I am not using the account - and then re-activate at a later date (and of course re-start the monthly billing)?
I likely won't need access to the data during the suspension, but will it be available as read only data during that time?
Love your product, and will use it again for the next company but am in a transition right now but don't want to lose permanent access to my old company's data.

Hi there @stevehasall,
We truly appreciate you expressing your love for QuickBooks and thank you for being part of the family.
For your first question, yes, you can suspend your account and avoid the monthly subscription too. Let me show you how.
Regarding your second question, you can still access a read-only version of your data for a year from the day of your cancellation.
Please feel free to check this article for more details: Cancel Your QuickBooks Online Subscription or Trial.
You can always come back. We would be more than glad to welcome your business again in the future.
If there’s anything else I can help you with, I’m always here for you. Have an awesome day!
Thanks for your prompt response. I've taken your direction and temporarily suspended my account. Thank again! Steve
