Join nowHello,
i have an account for my business that has been running for many years on QB.
i have all my personal accounts, etc as another account (probably not the best way to do this).
with my personal accounts on QB, it is easy to transfer funds from one account to another, etc and keep track on QB.
Question, how do i add the business QB Account to my existing person chart of accounts?
i do not have anything fancy for my business except a simple check register.
is this possible?
appreciate your help
thanks
raj
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, it is possible to import an account to another company, @rmp7345.
You can export and edit your Chart of Accounts to exclude accounts that aren't needed. Let me guide you on how.
Once done, you can edit the IIF file in an Excel file. Refer to this link for more details on how to edit and import your file to another company: Export, import, and edit IIF files.
