Adding another company to current QBO subscription

I need to set up a new company in QBO Plus.  Can I add this new company to our current subscription or do we have to pay for another subscription?

Yes you can add as many new QBO companies you desire to your same account and YES, each one will cost you the going rate. There are no free companies in QuickBooks Online, only in Desktop versions.

You can manage multiple companies with your own QBOA free account (You need to invite yourself with a second email addy) and then you can offer yourself wholesale billing to save a few bucks

Adding another company to current QBO subscription

Welcome, @Bobcat and thank you for coming to the QuickBooks Community for assistance. I have some insight on adding a second business to pass along.

Thank you @john-pero for the information. I love seeing when the Community works together.

You would need a separate QuickBooks online account for each business. You can use the same email so when you log in it will let you choose which account you want to access.

Now would be a good time to sign up for a second account as there is a Cyber Monday sale going on. I don't know how long this discount will be going on, but it's still available as I'm posting this.

To view the 70% off for 3 months discount, click here.

If you have any trouble getting this setup, please feel free to reach out. I'll be happy to help.

Hello there, CarrieH.

If you're referring to your Workforce account, please know that you'll need to confirm the invitation first from your current employer sent via email to successfully view pay stubs. Additionally, all employee accounts can handle multiple invites to access payroll data from various employers.

For additional information about this feature, consider checking out this article:

QuickBooks Workforce: Access your paychecks and W-2’s online.

Please consider reaching out to one of our Workforce Support if the issue persists. You can visit the direct link I'm attaching below:

Reach out to me through the comment section below if you have any other issues or concerns adding the new employer. I'll be right here to assist.
