All of a sudden payroll subscription has been billed to my account. Never used it and don’t want the option. How do I cancel an get refunded?

Hello there, @wenaileditconstr.

Let's go to the Billing & Subscription page to cancel the payroll subscription that you may have accidentally activated. With this, you're able to get the refund you deserve. Here's how:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription section.
  4. In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
  5. Select Continue to cancel.
  6. Complete the short survey and select Confirm cancel.

Once done, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can securely pull up your account to confirm the cancellation and process the necessary refund for you.

In case you want to talk to one of our representatives, you'll have to request a callback. Just make sure to contact them during support hours (Monday - Friday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT and from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PT every Saturday) to ensure you'll get the help you need. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose Contact Us
  3. Enter your specific concern in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Click Let's talk
  5. Select Get a callback.
  6. Enter your contact details.
  7. Click Confirm my call

Please know that you're welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about managing your QBO subscription. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
