Amazon Integration

Since I signed up on QB and integrated Amazon 2 days ago, I get 2 Amazon OTP notices every morning at 6am when I am not even on QB or my computer. What gives?

Amazon Integration

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @bookster53.

Amazon is one of the features we are currently testing for permanent implementation, errors are to be expected at this point. To resolve getting OTP notices, I suggest clicking on Fix it link when getting an error There was a problem with your connection then enter the required information and connect.

We also recommend giving feedback on what errors encountered by selecting on the Give Feedback link beside the Turn it off button for Connect to Amazon. This will helps our Product Engineers to troubleshoot the errors.

To know more about how Amazon and QuickBooks Self-Employed works together, you can check out this article: Amazon integration with QuickBooks Self-Employed

Fill me in if you have other QuickBooks concern. I'll appreciate the opportunity to help. Take care always and have a good one.

Amazon Integration

I have signed up for Quickbooks and subsequently canceled my subscription. While trying to set it up, I linked my Amazon. I now get the OTP text message repeatedly after 6 pm ( I woke up this morning to 40 of them). I have turned off the integration, disconnected all my accounts, and canceled my subscription, but I am STILL getting these texts.  How do I make it stop?

I have turned it off AND canceled the entire account, yet I am still getting bombarded with the OTP. It won't even let me do it on my regular account.

Hi there, @Marymonarch. I realize how exasperating it might be to constantly receive OTPs.

I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support team to help you identify the cause of this issue. They can submit a ticket to our engineers to look into this further.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Help (?) and select Contact Us.
  2. If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
  3. Enter “talk to a human”, then select Continue.
  4. Select Have us call you to get a call from a support expert.

This link provides these steps if you ever need them again in the future: Contact QBSE Support.

If you want to start using your existing account again, feel free to check out this article: Resubscribe to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
