Anyone know if QBO will be creating new Sales Tax reports to help with determining which states we need to register in as we pass those state threshholds?

We will now have to watch sales to all states (need to sort sales by state) so we know if we pass their threshhold and need to register & file in that state or not.

There is an available report you can run to determine which states have passed the thresholds, @SCrawford.

You can run and customize the Sales Tax Liability Report. It shows the taxable amount and the total tax specific for each state or city. That information will help you verify if you need to register and/or file in that state or not.

  1. On the left menu, click Reports.
  2. Enter Sales Tax Liability Report on the search field.
  3. Customize the report's date period and accounting method.
  4. Click Run report to refresh the data.

That should help you get the information you need, SCrawford. If you have other Sales Tax concern or questions, just drop a comment below. I'm still here to offer more help. Have a wonderful day.
