Can help me get in? Have acct w/ my co. 2nd co invited me as user w/ 2nd email. 2 probs: 1) 2nd email is assoc with an old unused acct. 2) no QBO company assoc with email

When I try to accept the invitation from the other company using the email address that I was invited with (which is associated with an old unused account of mine), I get this message "Unfortunately, there is no QuickBooks Online company or QuickBooks Accountant account associated with [email address].

Let's make sure that the email address you've entered and the one associated with QuickBooks is identical, john-wheatley.

 

Any additional characters, punctuation, or letters on the email address can be the cause of the error. If it's correct, I'd recommend reaching out to our Phone Support team. An agent will take a look at your account and can link your email address with your QuickBooks account.

 

Just a heads up, they'll be asking some questions to verify your email address.

  1. Click the ? Help icon, and then Contact Us.
  2. Enter Link unused email address to QuickBooks Online account.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Message an Agent or Get a callback.
