Hi there, useralphanationalcar.

 

When we assign an account to an item, it will affect the reporting. It is design this way so the system can keep track of the correct record of the accounts.

 

However, you can update the expense account on the Products and Services anytime.

Yes, I have tried  item under P&S to  assign expense account  but I am getting below error when transfer Bills from my ascend TMS.

We'll help you check this further. However, we'd like to ask for more details coz the screenshot you sent doesn't have any error messages. How did you do the transfer to Ascend TMS? Please explain your setup a bit more. Thanks in advance.
