Join nowI would like to have an assistant help me by reconciling our credit card on our company QB. Is it possible to give them access to just the credit card on Quickbooks Online Plus? I saw that you can do something similar to this with Quickbooks Online Advanced, but I don't want to upgrade if I don't have to. If I do upgrade, can you get that specific when limiting the access on the QB Online Advanced? I only want the assistant to see the credit card activity.

Hey there, @kkramZ.
Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. Allow me to provide you with some information about getting a user access to only reconcile in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
I can see how beneficial this could be for you. However, the user would have to have access to the whole QBO in order to reconcile an account. I'll send feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in the upcoming release. They take the time to review every request and try to collaborate them to the next available update for the product.
You can always check out our QuickBooks Blog to keep up with what's new in the system. For future reference, here's a guide about user types and access that can be helpful.
I hope this information gives you some clarification on this matter. Should you need any further insight, feel free to ask. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you! It would be incredibly helpful if I could give limited access to an assistant/employee for our credit cards. It's a tedious job that I don't have time for anymore and need help, but I don't want to let an employee see everything. I appreciate you forwarding this issue to the developers.
Is there a solution? I am looking to give limited access to an assistant/employee for our corp credit card as well. We use Quick books online advanced..
Thanks for joining this thread, @NSNGP. I’m here to share some updates with you.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), giving limited access to an assistant or employee for credit cards isn't possible. We can't provide you a specific time frame as to when this feature will roll out.
I’d recommend sending our Product Development team feedback. This way, they could take action to help improve your experience. Please know that the more users who need it, the greater chances it’ll be part of the future enhancements.
Here’s how to process a request:
You can visit the Customer Feedback for QBO website to track your request.
Here are some articles that contain information on how to manage users in the program:

Hi there! Any updates on this feature? This would have been incredibly helpful.
Hello there, @dt8778.
I'm glad to see you here in the Community space. Allow me to chime in and assist you with your question about the requested feature in QuickBooks Online.
As of now, there are no changes yet to how the user access works. The ability to assign a user with account management access only is unavailable.
Regardless of having the Advanced version, you still need to select any other access before you can provide an account management role. For more information, check out this link: Add and manage custom roles in QuickBooks Online Advanced.
As we assess this, I encourage you to send feedback to our product engineers. You can follow the steps provided by my colleague above on how to submit suggestions.
Additionally, there are many access options primary and company admins can provide to users. I've included a link you can visit for more details about what we allow in QuickBooks: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.
Drop by anytime you have questions about the QuickBooks features or updates. We'll be sure to lend a hand.
Looking for this limited access to only credit cards feature and I assume it's not yet available.
Not for reconciling but for data entry purposes, uploading receipts to online quickbooks accounts, and in general matching online quickbooks transactions with the paper statements is a tedious job which I would like to give to my employee but wouldn't want them to see the bank balances.
Hi, @ZapArrow. Thanks for joining the thread.
I can share some insights about adding limited access to your employee to enter data entries related to credit card transactions, uploading receipts, and matching transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Currently, the closest access you can give to your employee is the Standard all access. However, please know that aside from entering data entries related to entering credit card transactions, uploading receipts, and matching transactions, your employee can have access to the following:
I understand that the software needs to accommodate various business needs, especially being able to grant customized access to added users in QBO. With this, I encourage sending your feedback to our product engineers to implement this in future updates. Here's how:
You can also track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
For future reference, let me add this article should you consider emailing your expense receipts to QBO to automatically create transactions and review them: Email receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.
We'll be here in the Community if you have further concerns about managing user role permissions in QBO. We'll do our best to assist.
