Re: Can I merge a comapny who has rebranded with a seperate name and payment system with an exist...
Welcome to the Community, steel1.
Merging two different company files in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is currently unavailable. However, you have the option to export/import lists or transactions in an .IIF file format from one company to another.
Sign in to the other company file as Admin and in a Single User mode.
Once logged in, go to the File menu at the top left to get to the Utilities.
Choose Export, then Lists to IIF Files.
Place a checkmark in the items you want to export, then hit OK.
Save it to your preferred location and select OK to confirm.
To import them to the other company file, here's how:
Ensure you're signed in as Admin and in a Single User mode.
Go back to the File menu to get to the Utilities.
Select Import, then IIF Files.
Locate the file and highlight it and choose Open.
Hit OK on the pop-up message to confirm.
