Can I pause my quickbook account for a couple of months?

Thank you for giving us the clear objective of what you want in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, @docontrerasflex

To pause your QuickBooks subscription for three months, you will need to cancel it temporarily. Once you are ready to use it again, you can resubscribe.

No need to worry about your company information because QuickBooks has a 1-year view-only access to your data. Once you reactivate the account, you can have full control of it again.

Here's how:

  1. Move your mouse to the Gear icon and click it.
  2. Below the Profile column, choose Subscription and billing.
  3. Inside the subscription tile, select Cancel.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps.

Once you are ready to reactivate it,  log in to the cancelled account and click the Resubscribe button inside the subscription box.

However, if you are referring to a Pause button without cancelling, it is unavailable in QuickBooks.

Having the knowledge on how cancellation of account works in QuickBooks is very useful to avoid company information lost. For additional queries with regard to this matter, return here so we can assist you right away.
