You can send sales forms from your Gmail account, whether it be a gmail.com address or a Gsuite custom domain address. Just follow these quick and easy steps:

 

  1. Create an invoice like you normally do.
  2. When you’re done creating the invoice, select Save and send to open the preview window.
  3. In the From drop-down menu, select Add Gmail address.
  4. Follow the steps on the screen to let QuickBooks use your Gmail account.
  5. Select Save.

So the answer didn't really answer the question.  An Alias email is not an actual email account that can be verified with the process Quickbooks uses for verification.  I have 4 aliases off of one Gmail /GSuite account.  One of the aliases being [email address removed]  I can sign into the main account and verify with the Quickbooks process, but not my alias - [email address removed] account under that to follow the verification process.  I need to send my PO's from [email address removed] and not the account that is the parent to the alias.   Is there a way to use the alias email instead of the main account?

Welcome to QuickBooks, adahunt.

 

You can set up an email service in QuickBooks Desktop to set up a different email address.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to QuickBooks Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select Send Forms.
  3. Select Web Mail and Add.
  4. Fill out the Add Email Info and select OK.
  5. Select OK to save your changes.
