Can I use a different "Ship From" address for my invoices?

Hello! My business is based in Michigan, and my QBO account is set up with that address. When I create an invoice to send to a customer, the default "ship from" address is that address in Michigan. However, we have a warehouse in CA that is shipping our goods, so I need that to default to the CA address. I can't figure out a way to do this and have to imagine this is a common issue.

Could you please guide me on how to set this up?

Thank you!

Can I use a different "Ship From" address for my invoices?

Good day, @jenuneekor.

It's nice to have you in the Community. QuickBooks Online(QBO) has an option to change the address on the invoice. Let me guide you through on how to update the address in your account.

1.    Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Account and Settings.

2.    Select Company from the left menu.
3.    Click the Pencil icon in the Address section, then uncheck the Customer-facing address, and Enter the new address.

4.    Hit Save, then tap Done.

After entering the new address in QBO, let’s create a sample invoice to check if the new address will appear.

Here’s how:

1.    Select the Create ⨁ icon , choose Invoice.
2.    From the Customer ▼ drop-down, choose the name of your customer. Verify the other information as well.
3.    Under the Product/Service column, select the item or service that is being billed, then complete the rest of the fields as needed.
4.    Click Print and Preview located in the bottom part to check the new address you set-up.

I'm also adding a detailed guide on how to update the company information:

I hope this response finds you with a smile. If you need anything else, let me know. I am always happy to help. Have a great day!
