Can't log in - 2nd user -

We have a 2 user license of QB Pro 2014.  The data is hosted on my secretary's drive and we are in a peer to peer network.  If she is logged in (in multiuser mode) I cannot get in.  The message states that we have a 2 user license and the host is set up to share but the company I am opening is unable to access it.  If I get her to log out and I log in first, then go into multi user mode, then she has no problem logging in.

There's a possibility that you’re QuickBooks (first computer) and the other workstation’s QuickBooks are not working on the same company file. 

To check the file location:

  1. Press F2 on your keyboard while in your QuickBooks desktop to determine the company file information. 
  2. You can then match it with the file location that the other computer is in.

You can refer to the screenshot below.

If they have the same location, you can refer to this link to re-fresh your multi-user set up:

I dont have a 2 user account.  Im the only one that does QB.  When I set up acct typed in all verification s sent to me it says my log in name & phone dont match info I gave them

Are you trying to access the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS)? If so, let me direct you to the right support team who can pull up your account in a secure environment and help with logging in. 

 

They have the tools needed to get this taken care of and answering any questions you may have. 

 

Here’s how to contact support:
1.    Go to the Help menu and select Ask Intuit.
2.    On the pop-up, scroll down and click Contact us.
3.    Fill out the Tell us more about your question field and click Search or select a topic twice.
4.    Scroll-down and click the Get Phone Number button.
