Can we have multiple companies on our QBO with distinct logons and separate access rights?

Our DBA entity would like to use our QBO as a separate company, but I would rather they not have access to "our" data, just as I don't want access to theirs.

I'm here to share some information about managing a QuickBooks account, @scand.

Are you trying to create another QuickBooks Online (QBO) account under the current account? If so, you can create another QBO account using the user ID and password you already use for the current QBO account. The next time you log in to your QBO account, It'll now show as one of your QBO companies.

You can refer to this article for more information about managing multiple company files: Create or add another company file to QuickBooks Online.

Check out this article for more information about managing user profiles in QBO: Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online. it'll guide you with adding and setting user roles or permissions.

I'm always here if you need further help with the account. Keep safe, and have a wonderful day!
