Can we transfer the bank information from a client book to another client book?

Hi there, dithcita2004-yah.

Thank you and welcome back here in QuickBooks Community. Yes, you can transfer the bank information from a client's book to another client book. To do this, you'll need to export the bank information from the wrong company to Excel and import it to the correct one. To start with, I suggest going to the Banking menu and you'll be able to see an export icon from there.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Banking menu on the left panel. Then, the Banking section.
  2. Choose the bank account that you want to export by clicking the card.
  3. Click the export icon. Then, finish the process if necessary.

Once done, you can now import the data from excel to another QuickBooks account. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to another or correct account and click on the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Under Tools, choose Import Data.
  3. Select Bank Data.
  4. Click Browse to select a file to be imported.
  5. Click on the Next button until finished.
