You may ask your employer to resend the QuickBooks Workforce invitation to a different email address, as unlinking accounts using the same login credentials is currently unavailable. Let me share the process below.
Your employer needs to cancel your current access and then resend the invitation to a new email address. Here’s how to do that:
- Go to the My apps section, then hover your mouse over Payroll, then Employees.
- Choose the employee.
- Navigate to the Permissions tab, then click the arrow dropdown menu beside Edit to select Remove access.
- Click Remove access on the prompt message to confirm.
- On the Profile tab, select Edit on the Personal Info section.
- Change the Email, then Save.
- Go back to the Permissions tab to Send Invite again.


After successfully accepting the invitation, view your pay stubs, time off, and year-to-date pay in QuickBooks Workforce.
