Cancel my subscription

The process to cancel your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription varies depending on where you initially subscribed, susm0629. I'll outline the details based on different sign-up methods.

 

If you purchased directly from Intuit, follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in as an admin user.
  2. Click on the Gear icon, then select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Select Cancel and proceed to Continue to cancel.
  4. A pop-up will appear confirming that your subscription has been canceled. Select Got it.

Once the cancellation is completed, you will have Read-only access to your account. In this mode, you can view and download your data, depending on its availability and the exportation policies. Please note that changes will also no longer be possible.
