Cancel QuickBooks checking

Good move, given all the horrors I've read here about the QuickBooks checking account and how they do business.

Hello there, Ruth. I'm here to route you to the team that will help you cancel your QuickBooks (QB) Checking account.

Before closing your QB Checking account, please make sure it has a zero balance. If there are remaining funds, you have the option to either spend or transfer them, as any remaining amount will be forfeited upon account closure.

Here's how to transfer your funds:

1. Go to Lending & banking and select QuickBooks Checking.
2. Choose Transfer and click Transfer money.
3. Enter the amount you want to transfer.
4. Select your QB Checking account in the From dropdown.
5. In the To dropdown, click your connected bank account.
6. Hit Next and select Finish transfer.

To cancel your QB Checking account, you have two options:

• Call the number on the back of your checking card. This will connect you to Green Dot support, who can guide you through the cancellation process.
• Contact our support team and request to be transferred to Green Dot support for assistance with the cancellation.
