I can provide the steps on how to cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription, info1501.

 

You can to log into your account and cancel it from there. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
  2. Select Settings ⚙ and then Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps.

After you cancel your subscription with us, your QBO data will be available for up to a year. While for accounts with terminated payroll service, you'll have access to the data for six months after the end of the tax year in which that data was collected.

 

You can print necessary financial and payroll reports you need in the future. Here's how:

To print reports:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select the report you want to print or export.
  2. Find the report you want to save a copy for, then click to open it.
  3. Make sure to select the correct dates before running it.
  4. When the data is correct, click the Print or Export icons.

For the refund, you can contact our Live Support Team by following these steps outlined below. Our representatives can check your account and discuss your billing options and refund agreements.

 

  1. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  2. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Looks like you have a new way of contacting us. When you click Help at the upper-right, you'll be routed to the Assistant tab. Just enter talk to a human and select Get help from a human. You'll be routed to select the option you'll want to contact us.

 

I'd also suggest contacting us during our available support hours. Our Phone Support Team is available from Monday to Friday 6 AM -  6 PM and Saturday between 6 AM to 3 PM PT. You can check out this link for more information: QuickBooks Online Support. My colleague provided references on how to cancel your account, you can go to the page for the detailed steps.

I Have been trying to cancel since the charge showed up on 4/29/2021.  I canceled yesterday again but did not get a response to let me know they would refund since I have not had payroll

To verify the cancellation that you made, it'd be best to contact our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to check on your account and provide information if you're eligible for a refund.

 

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Hit on the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press on Let's talk.
  5. Select on Get a callback.
  6. Key in your contact details, then tap on Confirm my call.

Hello, Jbremodel. 

 

As much I don't want to see you go, but I can show you how to cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription. 

 

There are just a few steps to get this done. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Billing & Subscription.
  4. Tap the blue Cancel link beside of the Subscription Status.
  5. You'll be asked if you'd like to call in, change your plan, or Continue to cancel

 

Then, you'll receive an email confirmation that you canceled your online subscription plan. For more details about canceling your subscription, you can check out this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial
