Cannot print memo//description field in P&L detail report. All other fields print. Proposed solution didn't do anything. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Hello jonelkow,

 

I can help fix the problem you're having when including the Memo/Description column on the Profit and Loss report.

 

The outcome of the report will also depend on the print settings of your browser. If you're using Chrome, you can check the setup and ensure you select the Fit to page option.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log into your QuickBooks account.
  2. Open the Profit and Loss Detail report.
  3. Choose a date range.
  4. Filter the report to your desired outcome.
  5. Click the printer icon.
  6. Next to Orientation, select Portrait or Landscape.
  7. Click Print.
  8. Click More settings.
  9. Put a check mark beside Fit to page.
