Change social security percentage

Hello @margaretwng,

Thanks for posting in the Community. I can provide clarification on Social Security percentages.

In order for me to provide you with the best information, could you please let me know why the Social Security percentages need to be changed? The reason for asking is that Social Security is generally taxed at a rate of 6.2% for the employer and the employee. I'm including an article with further insight into this, such as rates, wage bases and compliance information: Taxes and Rates: Wage Bases and Limits.

Also, I recommend the following articles for additional information about payroll:

As always, if you're unsure about the rates for withholding, you may wish to consult your accountant to ensure the optimum setup for your business.

I'm just a post away should you have any questions about payroll or anything else. Wishing you continued success in all of your endeavors.
