Changing/removing user log-in access in QB Desktop POS
We want to remove former employees from the QB Desktop POS log-in list, so that they do not show up in the log-in drop-down. Do we need to actually delete these employees from QB POS (desktop), and, if we do that, will it affect employment records and payroll history? If not by deleting, how to remove them as users from QB POS?

Hi Leah!
You'll want to delete the users/employees to remove them from the login page. This step will not affect their payroll information. However, I would suggest backing up your POS company file before doing anything for safekeeping purposes.
Go to the Employee List tab on the Home Page.
Select the employee you wish to remove.
In the I Want To drop-down box, select the Delete Employee option.
