Thanks for coming in today, @DebMitch.

I have some information about converting your QuickBooks Mac 2010 to 2020. You can upgrade it incrementally to avoid data loss or damage. Currently, the available trial link on our page is for QuickBooks Mac 2020.

That said, I recommend consulting our Technical Support Team to ensure that you can go through the process without any issues. Here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help at the top, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then hit Let's talk and then choose a way to connect.

For details about the risk of data file corruption, check out this guide: Risk of data file corruption and data loss for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac users

Additionally, using a third-party upgrade service provider will also work. The service provider's support will also be there to help you complete the process. In case you need help with other QuickBooks for Mac tasks, click this link to go to our general topics with resources.

Stay in touch with me if you still have questions or concerns. I'm always here to assist you. Take care and stay safe.

@DebMitch

Ask Intuit Data Service to upgrade your company file. Otherwise, you have to purchase a 3rd party service to do so.
