Hi towhidctg , thank you have posted in quickbooks community.

add new credit card just like you add the first credit card then add account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select Connect Account on the landing page, or select Add account or Link account if you've already created an account.

For additional information you could see the article about Connect bank and credit card .

Glad to assist you.

CREDIT CARD

Hello there, Towhid. Good morning!

If you mean changing your credit card information, we can follow the steps below. This is how we can activate the new one and make it use starting next month. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription, select Edit beside your payment method.
  4. Update your credit card information. Then, double-check the details.
  5. Once done, click Save.

On the other hand, if you're referring to linking an account, you can sync the new one the same steps as you did before. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions on the left panel.
  2. Click Link account within the Banking page.
  3. Search your bank's name.

If you need to update your business and account details soon, you can check this article to learn more about it.  Also, you can check the detailed steps in matching and categorizing transaction in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have other questions with QuickBooks or need further assistance with this. I'm always around to assist you. Keep safe always.

Thank you for joining the thread, @alan53.

Is your inquiry is about changing your credit card number for your QuickBooks subscription? If yes, you can go to the Billing and Subscription menu and modify it from there. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Accounts and Settings.
  2. Go to the Billing and Subscription menu.
  3. Select the pencil icon next to your payment method to edit.
  4. Update your credit card info.
  5. Review the information, then click Confirm card or Save.

If you've subscribed to your QuickBooks Online account through an app store, you can change it from there. Here's an article for the steps: Update credit card through an App Store or Google Play.

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment below if you're referring to something else or if you have any other questions. Have a good day.

How do I get to Gear Icon?

Hey there, @alan53

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community and asking where the Gear (Settings) icon is located in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Don't worry. It only takes a simple click of your mouse to get there.

Once you've logged into your QBO account, press the Gear (Settings) icon in the top right-hand corner of the "Dashboard" page like the visual guide below.

Here's how to get to the rest of the steps that may colleague provided as well, so there isn't any confusion:

  1. After hitting the Gear icon, pick Account and Settings under the "Your Company" column.

       2. Choose the Billing and Subscription tab on the left-hand menu bar.

       3. Beside your payment method, click the Edit (Pencil) icon.

       4. Change your credit card details.

       5. Tap Confirm card or Save after looking over your credit card information.

For future reference, here's a guide to help manage your billing and subscriptions

These steps and visual guides should make it easy to update your credit card details in your QBO account. I value you and the success of your business. If you have any trouble along the way, don't hesitate to ask for help. I'll always be around to help. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Update credit card wont let me log in to change

Hello @Cal5,

Let's perform a few browser troubleshooting steps so you can log in and update your credit card account information for billing and subscription.

In some instances, the frequently-accessed page resources stored on your browser may affect your browsing experience. They can cause unexpected browser problems like what you received when logging in to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Let's consider logging in to your QBO account using a private or incognito browser so we can isolate this issue. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if you get the same results while using a private browser, use a different browser app instead.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Account Management for QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
