Deleting backup files

Hello - I am running QB for Mac 2015 and have backup files going back 2 years - I assume it's safe to delete most of them? Just checking before I do something dumb!

Re: Deleting backup files

Yes, you can delete the backup files you've created two years ago, Norcal_doc.

When creating a backup file, this would back up the whole company file.  Before deleting it, please take note to have a current backup file before deleting the old one.

I'll show you how to manually back up your current company file:

  1. Set your Backup Preference.
  2. Go to File and click Back Up.

Once done, you'll see a message that you have successfully backs up your current company file.
