The integration is per company, so I'd say it will work on both a firm and a client's company. By the way, for third-party app integrations, it's best to reach out to the support team of the app provider to make sure your mapping is correct. I got an article here, this might help you with the integration: https://intuit.me/2XVLko5;. That's for QuickBooks Online (QBO).
On the other hand, I just answered your question about reconciliation in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'm wondering if you use QBSE instead of QBO. For QBSE, you can follow these steps:
Feel free to reach if you need more help.
Yup, you're right. Labs was available for the Accountant's own Pro Adviser QBO. It asked me for my Amazon credentials (I think it did) but not for default gl accounts. I do have a biz Amazon account but not obvious that made any difference.
When I hover over recent Amazon purchases in my Amex register in my firm QB Accountants version, I don't see a prompt or option other than the one I memorized in previous Amex feed synch. Nor do i see enough detail in transaction to identify what it was for unlike the online demo and https://community.intuit.com/articles/1772257-amazon-integration-with-quickbooks-self-employed
Would regular QB Pro Advisor tech support, help with this Labs feature?
How will QBO handle an Amazon purchase of say 4 items all covered by one Amex charge?
To be clear: I'm not an Amazon seller but an Amazon consumer of office supplies and equipment etc for my business. All purchased via same Amex card.
Let me route you to the support who can help you with your transactions, lenraphael!
For the mapping of accounts during integration, I'd recommend contacting Amazon's support. However, for the transactions that are already in QuickBooks, I'd recommend contacting our ProAdvisor support instead. They have different Communities depending on your subscription.
Please let me know if you need more help.
