To answer your question, it's a yes. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), every user has their own unique login credentials.
Once you invite a user to access your QBO account, they receive an email invitation to accept the invite and set their username and password. That will be the one they'll use every time they log in.
In case you forgot your username or password, here's a helpful article that you can read to recover your account: Reset your password or recover your user ID for QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to add a comment below if you have any other questions about the QuickBooks password. I'll be right here to help you.

I opened an online account and migrated a client from desktop to QBO Essentials. I am the primary admin. If I give the client access will he be able to view all of my QBO Accountant account or just his account? Thanks
Hi there! I have the information you need about the client access, rmwallach.
When you grant a client access to your QBO Accountant account, they'll only be able to view their own company file. They'll not have access to your other QBO Accountant accounts.
For reference on adding clients to your firm, read this article: Add clients to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Visit this article for your guide on managing their accounting data to help with their bookkeeping: Open and review clients' QuickBooks Online or Self-Employed accounts.
