Error code OL-393 Desktop 2021 Bank feeds not working.
I am so frustrated. I cannot download transactions from the bank of America via Bank Feeds which I have been doing for years. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps from Quickbooks and nothing. The bank says everything is fine on their end. I cannot get a call back from Quickbooks (the call back option is not even there anymore) I don't know what else to do!!! I need to speak to a live person!!!!!!
You can fix the error code OL-393 by checking your bank connection and QuickBooks company file. Before doing so, make sure to back up your company file before following the steps.
To get started, let's create a test company file to find out if the error you're getting is caused by your bank. Here's how:
From the File menu, select New Company.
Select Express Start or Start Setup.
In the Setup window, enter all required info, then select Create Company.
If the same error persists, it means that there's a problem with the connection from your bank. To resolve this, let's log in to your bank and check if you have any bank security notifications.
However, if you don't get any error, it means that there aren't any issues with your bank. We can reset the connection to your bank to refresh your online banking connection. You sometimes need to do this if your bank did an update to their online banking service.
