As a long time client, (not that it matters to an entity such as QB) I tried unsuccessfully requesting for the first level agent to have a supervisor contact me. I was told on 3 consecutive days, by 3 different agents, that a “supervisor” would contact me. Ya right.
On day 4, the agent simply hung up on me. Class act.
When I was looking to backup a file to transfer onto a new laptop AND into a newly purchased QB 2021 version, I could not as it would not recognize my password. Ok, should be a simple request to change Pw via an email. In my case, not. Unknowingly, when I purchased QB 2016, Best Buy’s geek squad rep decided to link my qb license with a bogus email, my name under their domain.
Explaining this to qb agents has got nowhere, asking to speak with supervisor is non existent, sending emails per qb instructions, to prove to QB who I am, by sending my license id, is useless. They keep kickin it back saying declined.
thanks Quickbooks for “taking care” of your clients. Keep making your billions on the little guy.
As a homebuilder, had I treated just one past client the way qb treats us, I would never have had a career selling homes as I have for the past 25 years.

As long as you are unable to login into your CAMPS and find your license code in there, they won't acknowledge your claim. Consider purchasing a 3rd party password removal service for your company file as a workaround.

The license number is not enough. Can you login into the CAMPS and find it in there?
It lists 2012 and 2021. No record of 2016, because of the negligence that geeksquad did by registering my software under a bogus geeksquad.com email.
Ask Geeksquad to transfer the license. Quickbooks rarely transfers licenses and they make it not so easy but there are procedures.
In what Circumstances Intuit® Allows a User to Transfer the License?
There are only a few conditions where Intuit® allows a user to transfer its QuickBooks Desktop license to a new owner. A user requires filling and sending the “Transfer a License” form that will be reviewed by Intuit® after submission. Once the form gets submitted, you will get notified about your QuickBooks license transfer request through email within 24 to 48 hours. Following are the circumstances where Intuit® allows you to change the ownership of QuickBooks software:

I have gotten nowhere with geeksquad.
I am all set. I will just input the entire year again and keep my sanity. Big companies suck

On December 17 2020, I called l called Intuit QBO merchant services help desk to get a "lower merchant services" rate was told by REP ( Dec 17, 2020 Case # [removed] by Shana White. and Case which switched old to current was [removed]. Where ACH and EChecks were switched from $1 flat fee to 1% up to $7. ) that I could switch BACK if I was not satisfied with the new rates.
The new rates (which were supposed to be lower are IN FACT 65% HIGHER for ACH and echecks!!!!)
Have called QBO/Merchant services 18 times since Dec 17, 2020 (have case numbers to prove it) to get my account SWITCHED BACK. NO RESOLUTION!!!
Have been a long time customer of QBO for many years........Intuit/QBO DOES NOT CARE ....I Will be looking around for other solutions.
Intuit / QBO is GREAT At providing MISLEADING INFORMATION to customers and Miss information to clients purposely and then NOT being responsive to correct or resolve the problem!!!
This is what happens to companies when they become too big for their britches and the customer is NO LONGER A "VALUED CUSTOMER" but just a number...SHAME!!!
Intuit/QBO executive management should be ASHAMED of themselves and this should be unacceptable to them.
I WILL be posting the poor customer service on ALL social media and forums and warning prospects to AVOID doing business with Intuit/QBO, because of this SCAM!
