Good morning. Can I print/email an estimate/work order without pricing? I carry my paperwork onsite & don't want prying eyes to see cost of my equipment & labor.

Good morning, @apexavsystems

I hope you're enjoying this beautiful Friday so far.

Great news, you can print your estimate without the pricing included. However, there is no option to do this via email. Below I've provided the steps with screenshots to give you a visual reference on how you can remove the pricing from an estimate when printing.

Let's get started.

1. Click on the gear icon and choose Custom Form Styles.

2. Select New style, then Estimate

3. Under the Content tab, click in the middle section and uncheck Amount and Rate

That's all there is to it. I can see how emailing without the pricing included could beneficial for your business needs also. If you'd like, I can personally submit product feedback to our development team, so this could be considered in a future update.

For future references, you can check out Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online for more details about custom form styles.

Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. I'll be here every step of the way. You can always reach out to us here in the Community anytime you feel you need help. Take care and have a wonderful weekend ahead!

I notice that the total of the estimate is still there even when making these edits... is there a way so that the pricing and total is completely taken off. My interest is also so that pricing/cost is not shared just the detailed information on the estimate.

Good Evening, @cafsinc

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. I can see how this could be very helpful for you so that other people wouldn't see these prices. However, removing the pricing from a sales form in QuickBooks Online isn't available. My colleague did go ahead and submit feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in one of the upcoming releases.

You can also check out our QuickBooks Blog to see what's new in the product.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. The Community is always here to have your back. Have a great day!
