Good morning, @apexavsystems

I hope you're enjoying this beautiful Friday so far.

Great news, you can print your estimate without the pricing included. However, there is no option to do this via email. Below I've provided the steps with screenshots to give you a visual reference on how you can remove the pricing from an estimate when printing.

Let's get started.

1. Click on the gear icon and choose Custom Form Styles.

2. Select New style, then Estimate

3. Under the Content tab, click in the middle section and uncheck Amount and Rate

That's all there is to it. I can see how emailing without the pricing included could beneficial for your business needs also. If you'd like, I can personally submit product feedback to our development team, so this could be considered in a future update.

For future references, you can check out Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online for more details about custom form styles.

Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. I'll be here every step of the way. You can always reach out to us here in the Community anytime you feel you need help. Take care and have a wonderful weekend ahead!

I notice that the total of the estimate is still there even when making these edits... is there a way so that the pricing and total is completely taken off. My interest is also so that pricing/cost is not shared just the detailed information on the estimate.

Good Evening, @cafsinc

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. I can see how this could be very helpful for you so that other people wouldn't see these prices. However, removing the pricing from a sales form in QuickBooks Online isn't available. My colleague did go ahead and submit feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in one of the upcoming releases.

You can also check out our QuickBooks Blog to see what's new in the product.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. The Community is always here to have your back. Have a great day!

Has this been implemented yet? We have online too and need to be able to print our estimate without pricing for our employees. We want to be able to create a "field copy" from the invoice to delineate what they need to do at the job site. Thanks for your help!

Hello there, TriGem Homes and Gardens. I appreciate you for joining here.

I can see the importance to print estimates without showing the price. Also, creating a field copy from the invoice to show the things that your employees need to accomplish would be a great help to your business. However, these options are currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online.

Also, there's no specific time frame when these features will be added to QuickBooks Online.

You can always visit our blog site to see all the new features added to our platform.

I appreciate you taking the time to visit us here today. Looking forward to hearing from you soon if you have any other concerns. Stay safe always.

It's been several months and this feature is very important to us users who don't wish to share our full price with our field employees.  This doesn't seem like a difficult coding task and would show that QuickBooks is in fact listening to its USERS feedback.

If there could be a simple option or checkbox to include or not include prices and totals (just product/service) this would be extremely helpful.

This allows our deliveries to be made without employees looking at prices as well as possibly losing and others seeing our pricing on products/services rendered.

This would be a great update to the Quickbooks system which is already very useful.

Hello there, Ornamental Nursery.

Having an option to exclude pricing on an estimate sounds like a great idea. However, that feature is not yet available on QuickBooks Online.

You can submit your ideas, comments, and product suggestion to be included on future updates.  These requests and suggestions are forwarded directly to our Product Development Team for consideration in future updates.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then click on Next to submit.

You can track feature request through our website: QuickBooks Feature Request.

Don't hesitate to post your concerns here in the Community. I got your back. Have a great day!
