Hi asunci-nseca!
Thanks for posting here. Allow me to assist you in changing the primary or master administrator.
QuickBooks Online requires you to validate your identity through a verification code. This is for security purposes, to avoid unauthorized access to your file, and to confirm that you really are the existing primary admin.
- From the Gear icon, select Manage users.
- Find the user you want to make the primary admin and make sure they are listed as Admin
- Select the small arrow in the Action section and select Make primary admin.
- Enter the code, then Continue.
- Select Make primary admin again to confirm the change.
Once done, sign out and log back in. The new primary or master administrator will receive an email invitation and they need to accept it.
If you're still having issues, this could be due to a browser error. You'll want to update it by using an incognito window:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
You can clear the cache in QuickBooks Online. These are junks files that cause issues and removing them fixes it. Lastly, make sure that the browser is up-to-date.
