The issue when connecting your Paypal account is a known issue in QuickBooks Online. Our product team is diligently working with your bank to get a fix on this unexpected behavior as early as possible.
In the meantime, I’d also suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team to add your account to the list of affected users. This way, you’ll be notified of any updates on the progress of the investigation via email.

I've had this issue for 14 days now. I have transactions downloading that can't be edited because the selection of accounts required during the setup process is corrupt and can't be edited because the system can't reach the app. I can't disconnect the account from my system because the"disconnect from PayPal" option has disappeared from my options menu. I'm on the list of affected users but have gotten no updates in 14 days so I called again and was told there is no expected time for resolution at this time. I am not at all hopeful that this will be fixed given the current responses and in the meantime, the transactions being downloaded are mounting and just sitting there waiting to be coded.

I've checked the open investigation about the Paypal and QuickBooks connecting issue (INV- 18445), and there's no update given yet. Our engineering team is continuously working with Paypal to provide a solution as soon as we can.

Has anyone been able to solve this issue. I have used Connect to Paypal for months without any problems. Then, around 12/1/2018, it just stop downloading transactions. I tried support multiple times with no solution. Anyone have any other ideas?
