QBSE is a stand alone product. No migration path yet.

Hi edward7

Welcome to the Community. At the moment, you can only import your data manually from QB Self-employed (QBSE) to your QB Online Plus (QBO).

First off, you'll need to download and save your QBSE data such as reports and transactions. Here's how:

  1. In your QBSE account, go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select a tax year in the Tax details section.
  3. Click Download to get a Tax Details report. Then, download a report for each tax year you have in your account.

To download all your transactions, make sure to save it in a CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Select the transaction types, accounts, and periods you want to download from the drop-down list.
  3. Click the Download icon to download the CSV file. Save it to a folder where you can easily find it.

Here's an article to guide you about formatting CSV file format and how to import them in QBO.Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files

Once done, follow the steps outlined in Step 4: Move your downloaded transactions to QuickBooks Online in this help article: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online

Keep me posted if you have more questions about the process. I'm always around to further assist.

Good morning, @Mody

Thanks for joining this thread. Allow me to share some information about the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus subscription.

For QuickBooks Plus, you're allowed to add up to five users for free, plus two accountant users. When you go to set up those users, they're different levels of access for users. They can work with customers, sales, vendors, and expenses. You can choose all five users to have all access to view everything or limited access.

For more detailed information about setting up users in QBO, you can refer to this article: User types and user permissions in QuickBooks Online

Also, you can check out this article for future reference with getting started: Getting started with QuickBooks Online
