Hello there, kbenson,

Let's get this sorted out so you can create a password for your staff in your payments account.

If you're referring to a Merchant account, you can add or invite your staff as other user via this website: https://merchantcenter.intuit.com

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Select Account then Users.
  3. In the QuickLinks section, select How do I add a new user?.
  4. Select the https://paymentslogin.intuit.com/j/qbn/user/invite link.
  5. Enter the email address of the user and select the Role you want to assign them.
  6. Ask the invited user to select the Sign in link on the email they receive.
  7. Once they sign in, they will get a success message and a link to continue to the Merchant Services Center (MSC).

For further details, you can check out this article: Add a User to a QuickBooks Payments Account.

If this is with regards to your QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale account, and the password has something to do with your company file, let's create and customize their login credentials by performing the steps provided in this article: Create and customize a User Login In QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale.

If you'd like to go through this over the phone, I'd suggest contacting our dedicated team who will be happy to assist you. Our contact details can be found here along with our opening hours.
  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose your QuickBooks Product.
  3. Select your QuickBooks version.
  4. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
  5. Click on the Get Phone Number button to see the support number.

That'll keep you going, kbenson. Please keep me posted by leaving a comment below or if you have further concerns about setting up login credentials in your QuickBooks Payments account. I'm just around if you need help.
