Hi All my company is registered as a C Corporation how I cant find my Common stock account?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, @minerva_devonish. Let me provide you with details about finding your common stock account in QuickBooks Online.

If you have already created a common stock account within your Chart of Accounts, you can efficiently locate it by utilizing the filter feature located at the upper section of your Chart of Accounts page. This filter allows you to quickly search for specific accounts, helping you streamline your accounting process and save valuable time.

However, if you find that you are still unable to locate your common stock account even after applying the filter, it may be necessary to consider alternative options. In such cases, I recommend taking the proactive step of manually creating a new common stock account. This ensures that you have the necessary account set up for accurate financial reporting and management

When creating a common stock account, it is highly advisable to consult with your accountant or financial advisor. They can provide invaluable guidance on how to properly structure the account in accordance with accounting principles and regulations. Additionally, they can offer insights into how this account fits into your overall financial strategy, ensuring that you maintain compliance and accuracy in your financial records.

Moreover, I'm adding this article as your reference in categorizing your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO): Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have other questions or if you need further assistance in finding your common stock account in QBO. I'll be here to lend a hand at any time.
