Greetings, @rubecca.
Thank you for taking the time posting in the QuickBooks Community. Allow me to share some information about the error you're getting in logging in to QuickBooks Online.
When strange browsing behavior like this happens, it might be because of the cache. To check, sign in to your company using a private browsing window.
Here's how:
- Press the Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome) keys on your keyboard.
- Press the Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Internet Explorer) keys on your keyboard.
- Press Control + Option + P (Safari) keys on your keyboard.
If you got it to work, try clearing the temporary Internet files/cache in your regular browser. Since the private window wasn't using the information stored there, chances are there was some old data in the cache that was causing the problem.
After that, try again signing in to QuickBooks.
For additional help, feel free to reach out to our QuickBooks Customer Care Team. They have the tools to check what's causing this and can initiate a screen sharing session to get to the resolution quickly.
These resources should help to get you on the right track.
Keep me posted on how this turns out. I'll be happy to help you further. Wishing you and your business continued success.
